THE WAIT IS OVER

It's hard to believe that 18 months have come and gone since sent Jessica off to the Frankfurt, Germany mission, but our missionary is home. I'm sure we will not keep her home (at Mom & Dad's house) for very long, but we have certainly enjoyed getting to know her again. She is the same old Jess, with a little more maturity and life experiences. Welcome home Jess!!

The day finally came for us to welcome Jessica home from her mission in Germany. We had to wait an extra hour at the airport, so everyone was more than a little anxious by the time her plane came in. Kate's family made this great sign to let her know we were there when she came down the stairs.

The grandkids thought they could get to her first, but Mom pushed her way through for the first hug of many to come.

I finally had to give her up so that her Dad could give her a welcome home hug.

Jess was a bit overwhelmed to be swarmed by 10 adoring nieces and nephews.

The 11th (Luke) wasn't quite so sure he wanted to meet Aunt Jessica. They became great friends over the next few days, which made Jess very happy. Now the only niece she still hasn't met is Roxie (in February).

We all enjoyed sharing her mission with her, but we are grateful to have her back healthy and happy.
